The photoselective anti-hail nets act on the protection and development of plants and productions by modifying the quantity and quality of the available light and, at the same time, protecting from insects and bad weather.





IRIDIUM® is suitable for protecting all fruit plants such as kiwi, plum, peach, pear, apple, apricot, grape, pomegranate, lotus (kaki) and citrus fruit (lemons, clementines, bergamot).

More generally, it is indicated in all situations where effective anti-hail protection is required and, at the same time, a guarantee of high physiological performance of the plant.

Characterized by a prismatic effect, it converts the direct radiation in diffused radiation thus promoting better light penetration inside the foliage. Recommended in the anti-insect installations for the ability to reflect and diffuse much light.

Influence positively the varieties with limited bud fertility, for example seedless table grapes.



It protects from sunburn allowing the production of fruits with greater size. Indicated in areas where there are restrictions on the environmental impact.







iridium_blujpegIt favors a greater compaction of the plant, creating a situation of light that the leaf interprets as of full illumination, thus reducing the tendency to elongation of shoots in the search for light. Suitable for high-density fruit plants.

It can also allow the reduction of use of plant growth regulators for the limitation of the vigor of the plants

The knowledge of the potential of color has been deepened through a corporate experience gained over the years and thanks to the collaboration with the world of research at national level, Polytechnic University of Marche, CREA, Creso (now Agrion) and international, IRTA in Spain or University of Curukova in Turkey.

Another line of investigation that has given excellent results is the application of Iridium nets as an insect barrier. The Universities of Turin and Zagreb conducted tests in different areas of Europe to evaluate the range of insects that could be detained.

Research indicates that Iridium® is able to contain Moths (Cidya spp), Anarsia (Anarsia lineatella), European borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) and Asian bug (Halyomorpha halys).
