IRIDIUM® is a range of anti-hail nets that act at various levels on the protection and development of plants and productions. They change the quantity and quality of available light while protecting against insects and weather.


IRIDIUM® is suitable to protect all plants such as kiwi fruit, plum, peach, pear, apple, apricot, grape, pomegranate, lotus (khaki), citrus fruits (lemons, clementines, bergamot, and so on), but more generally is indicated in all the situations in which you require an effective anti-hail protection associated with high physiological performance of the plant.

Very interesting applications on apple, pear, apricot, citrus and vine.

It induces good yields with fruit with high firmness flesh without compromising other maturation parameters. Generally favors the accumulation of dry substance.

Allows a significant advance of ripening compared to darker nets.





Characterized by a prismatic effect, it converts the direct radiation in diffused radiation thus promoting better light penetration inside the foliage. Recommended in the anti-insect installations for the ability to reflect and diffuse much light.

Influence positively the varieties with limited bud fertility, for example seedless table grapes.



It protects from sunburn allowing the production of fruits with greater size. Indicated in areas where there are restrictions on the environmental impact.







iridium_blujpegIt favors a greater compaction of the plant, creating a situation of light that the leaf interprets as of full illumination, thus reducing the tendency to elongation of shoots in the search for light. Suitable for high-density fruit plants.

It can also allow the reduction of use of plant growth regulators for the limitation of the vigor of the plants

Knowledge of the potential of color was deepened through corporate experience gained over the years and thanks to the cooperation with the world of national research, Polytechnic University of Marche, CREA, Creso (today Agrion) and international, IRTA in Spain or University of Çurukova in Turkey.

Another line of investigation that has given excellent results is the application of Iridium nets as anti-insect barrier. The University of Turin and Zagreb have conducted tests in different areas of Europe to assess the range of insects that it was possible to withhold. Research is ongoing, but we can already say that Iridium is able to contain the Moths (Cidya spp), the Anarsia (Anarsia lineatella), the European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) and the Asian Bedbug (Halyomorpha halys).
